  • “My kambo practitioner training was one of the top 3 things I’ve ever experienced in my life on my path of self healing & gaining certifications/experience to share this deep healing with my clients. As a kaula tantra/kundalini /Hatha teacher it was perfect to add this additional training to offer my clients wanting to go deeper in healing their bodies from illness, disease, addiction,  family traumas and ancestral traumas. My experience with Renata was fantastic. I look forward to hosting future practitioner trainings together and expanding my knowledge and personal growth while sharing this with other that will go on to create healing diadems to share this powerful medicine. Right now on our planet there is a shifting from what is broken and no longer working with western medicine back to nature and natural connections with our bodies to litter earth. This path of kambo is deep healing. The indigenous have always had it right and sovereignty is the answer.  The vibration of Love. Renata is a fantastic space holder for those willing to do the work and she will hold you accountable for your own healing.  I am completely a better human and 100% changed from a victim, codependent, aggressor 3D triangle of vibration to a calm, non reactive communicator. With a higher vibration of student, coach, guru of my own life after this training. You not only become what I call having an iron clad invisible immune system, but you also become for/agile/strong like a warrior from the jungle tribe with. Heightened senses. I am much more empathic and intuitive of everything around me or that will be around me and my energy fields. The deep connections with this medicine have enhanced my dreams to be vision like and enhances lucid dreaming and astral travel. The depth that Renata takes you in anatomy and the true good Pyramid will shock you and awaken you to a deeper truth that you don’t expect! She’s funny, her knowledge of the human body and healing surpasses the most educated surgeon, she provides safe space for growth and will push you to truly see yourself and your programming for the deepest level of healing beyond your human tissues. May you be blessed and experience a sovereign life of peace and love and joy. Namaste”

5 day Retreat Introduction:

This unique Shamanism and Yoga Retreat will open your eyes to the life in the community of Durga’s Tiger Land, close to Rio Verde (Esmeraldas, Ecuador), not as a tourist but as a guest. Our Community is located at the Ecuadorian Coast. We are close to beautiful beaches and a clean River to swim in middle of the coastal jungle.

In this way, our retreat will be focused on connecting Shamanism, Tantra Yoga & Meditation to create a sacred space for healing and transformation. There will be an Introduction into shamanism and the work with powerplants like Yage/ Ayahuasca. There will be an Introduction into the Tantra Yoga and Meditation practice.

As part of our Shamanism & Yoga retreat we offer the opportunity to explore the healing powers of the sacred Yage medicine in two ceremonies in a safe set & setting for this beautiful, visionary and healing experience. After the powerplant ceremonies there will be space for integration and talking Circles to round up the process.

Listen for the call of the plant spirits to awaken your heart: Yage is a visionary drink created with the combination of two plants. The Yage Vine & the Yage Uku leave. Yage has been used by the shamanic socio-cultures in the amazon for healing and transformation since they remember.

On Durga’s Tiger Land the Spirits of the earth, the plants and the animals are still incredibly alive. The jungle symphony in the night, the sound of the river and the wind in the trees, all that makes it a sacred place. You are invited to connect with the sacred medicine Yage in its own habitat. This retreat is led by Malin Wind Disse together with he’s heart team. He is Neo Shaman, Tantric, Yogi, Anthropologist and actual leader of the Durga’s Tiger School 200hrs, 300hrs and 500hrs Teacher Trainings (Yoga Alliance and Yoga Alliance International certified) in Ecuador.

Imagine: The gentle breathing “Green River” with his warm water cleanses & awakens my inner child. A sacred grove of old “Saman” trees invites you to meditate and connect with the birds & elemental spirits.

In our powerplant ceremonies, we will be working with the tradition of the A’í or Cofán Socio-culture, coming from the Ecuadorian Amazon. This is the tradition where Wind has been learning as an Apprentice since more than 15 years with the master Shaman Don Avelino Quenama. Wind has received the permission to do his own Power Plant ceremonies and invite others into this sacred tradition. Since then he has been guiding ceremonies with the medicine of the yage/ ayahuasca holding space for healing and for transformation.

The lifestyle of the DTL community is aligned with the principles of “buen vivir” or the “good living”, exemplified by living the simple life, one that is not defined by things to possess; but emphasizes the connection from within to the Great Spirit. A connection that can be found living close with Pachamama; and honoring this Earth as a living being.

Accommodation will be provided by DTL. You can book shared dormitory or Camping.  There is space to hang our hammocks if you choose to bring one.

The food will be vegetarian and it will be prepared with love directly by the DTL cooking team.

DTS Working Team: holistic healer, Neo Shaman, Tantra Yogi and Anthropologist Malin Wind Disse who is leading the retreat together with his heart team.

MY TOTEM: The Shamanic Art of Woodworking
Jan

MY TOTEM: The Shamanic Art of Woodworking

My Totem: Woodworking Workshop

Instructors:
Wood: David Höner: German, English, Spanish
Yoga and Shamanism: Iris Disse: German, English, Spanish

The intention of the workshop is to make a totem that you can design according to your own ideas. Firstly, you will connect with a tree and see where it is growing. Then together we will cut it down. The tree is standing on our property. The final totem will be three to four meters high. You will use an axe, chisel, hammer and saw to define what you see in the wood. You will color it with fire or paint it to give form to the soul and shape to the wood spirits that live in it. A spiritual art object is created. A friend, a guardian, a keeper of one's own thoughts.

This will be a short course with shamanistic rituals, yoga, and meditation; with your own mind, with your own hands.

Bring along:

A sense of adventure, heart and hand, imagination.
Your own set of chisels, hammers, foxtail saw.
A tent to sleep in, rubber boots, wash kit, hat.
(If you don't have a tent, ask).

We provide:

Covered platform for the tent, food and drink, showers, river,
miscellaneous tools ((axe, grinder, work station, etc.)).

Limited number of spaces: maximum 10 participants
Cost: $1,000 USD per person

My Abundant Magic Life

MINI FESTIVAL: YOGA ...SOCIOCRACY...TANTRA... ARTS...SHAMANISM...PERMACULTURE

Durga’s Tiger Retreat
19. - 26. of November

Laugh-create-cry-dance-dream-swim in the clean jungle river-pray-eat fruits from the tree.

We need brave hearts, hands and heads!
You have a pioneering spirit?
You trust in yourself for the future?
You love to live in a community, on our own land?
You have ideas and skills for the vision of a self-sustaining village?
You see a crisis as a moment of growth?
You dream the dreams of a utopia creating our own culture in harmony with nature?
Come!
Let’s celebrate life together -just be yourself amongst others with earth under your feet.

Our catalysts of the Durga’s Tiger Land Community are Iris Disse, founder of Durgas Tiger School, along with her partner David Höner, founder of Cuisine sans Frontieres. Together with essentials docents and healers we open the space to experience our abundant magic live: we blend techniques of Tantra, Yoga, Arts and Shamanism with the “Sumak Kawsay-Good Living“, the pillars of our community.

For whom:

-For you, who want to live and create the vision of the "Good Live" on Durga´s Tiger Land together with us
-For our "Tigerriders" to reconnect
-For people who want to experience living in community
-For people who want to build a community themselves
-To the ones who simply want to connect and celebrate life
-For Yogis and Yoginis who want to make 100 hrs or YA continuous education

Why: We experience life in our international - holistic community. The techniques we use help us to raise our consciousness, to be able to act and to celebrate life. We learn to consciously create our energy level. Problems become challenges that we take on together with creativity and the spirit of the spiritual warrior. We explore the question: How do I find my “I” in community

Topics: We will dive deep into the Community Vision and "Sumak Kawsay - the good living" and the Durga’s Tiger Teachings while using different techniques:

Yoga in Community: Daily Kaula Tantra Yoga session; Meditation; Mantra and other Yogic/Tantric methods

Shamanism: One Night Plant Medicine Ceremony (Yage) with Taita Fiber from Colombia as well as Cacao Ceremony, Rapé, Sacred Tobacco, Moon Dance and much more

Energy work: Techniques from yoga, shamanism, and tantra.

Sociocracy: Specialized group decision making replaces the "leader". And answering the questions: "Is what we can decide now good enough to test? Does it not endanger the community?" Help to move quickly to action without lengthy debates about principles. You can always change the decision after gaining experience.

Community: We learn to dance between the poles of individual versus community with pleasure

Communication: We use heart to heart communication like Forum or Talking Stick

Community: We learn to dance between the poles of individual versus community with pleasure

Totem as a guardian: For three mornings we use our creativity to create a protective fence around Durga’s Tiger Land with teak logs, paint and imagination.

Socio - permaculture: How do I live as a human being in harmony with nature and neighbors in an intercultural environment?

Food Sovereignty: We present our concept of self-sufficiency, permaculture and what it will become.

Children in community: Holistic education of children

*At the beginning and at the end of the course there is the possibility
to participate in an Ayahuasca ritual*

Bamboo Construction & Yoga Retreat

Bamboo Sala Construction & Yoga Retreat

Invited: Volunteers!

Utopia? You can support to make it real:  participate in a holistic life changing community project ! Learning by Doing: build in bamboo and wood to create our community and ritual hall & enjoy Yoga-Meditation-Mantra-Pranayama-Dancing-Shamanic Rituals

Limited number of places: Maximum 10 participants

We will build a hall/space for shamanic and yogic rituals; for theater, yoga, tantra, singing, dancing, community meetings and workshops – to create a sacred space where we connect with each other, the nature around and with spirit.

The bamboo space will be 121m2, only the floor will be made by laurel wood.
All materials are found on Durga´s Tiger Land, our 42-hectare big community farm.

The process of cutting timber and bamboo was completed on the last black moon, and the material was transported by canoe across the river to the building space.

  • I was born 66 years ago in Switzerland under the sign of Virgo. I grew up in the country, in a small village. After my training as a chef, I traveled the world. During this time I have seen many cuisines, met many different people. After the years in gastronomy I became a theater maker, a professional tango dancer and finally a journalist. At a big theater festival in Vienna I met Iris, the love of my life. We created our life together, did a tantric education, plays and radio plays until we emigrated to Ecuador in 1994 with our son, Wind. In 2005 I founded the organization "Kitchen without Borders" in Switzerland, which opened restaurants in areas of poverty and crisis, creates training places and offers hope a place at the dinner table through food and drink.

While in Ecuador Iris founded a school for yoga, art and shamanism. Durga's Tiger School.
I have written two books about the place of hospitality in our society. Now we have decided to use our experience and joy of life in the new project to foster a community where a good life is possible. For this purpose we want to make available the land we have bought in Chontaduro, near the Pacific Ocean. In a place where many things are possible.
